HISTORIC RESTORATION

Our client’s historic farmhouse was one of the first dairy farms on the Central Coast. Over 100 years later, we restored and remodeled the home to accommodate large holiday gatherings. We matched numerous architectural details while developing contemporary comforts. Architectural elements include: new wraparound kitchen with stainless steel and butcher block counters; a sun porch reusing the original slumped glass window panes in the new window sashes; bedroom conversion into a large bathroom with claw-foot tub. With our client’s great sense of design and her respect of her home’s history, we created a farmhouse vision.
